India vs Australia T20: Suryakumar Yadav, the Indian skipper, looked back in his groove with the bat in the first T20I against Australia. SKY smashed the 150th six of his international career and joined Rohit Sharma in the elite list. 

India is currently facing Australia in Canberra for the first T20I of the series. Indian skipper lost the toss and Aussie captain Mitchell Marsh pushed them to bat first. 

Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill once again opened the innings for the Men in Blue. After a solid start, Abhishek Sharma was dismissed by Nathan Ellis in his first over. After his dismissal, skipper Suryakumar Yadav arrived at the crease. 

Suryakumar Yadav enters elite club alongside Rohit Sharma 

When Suryakumar Yadav hit Nathan Ellis for a massive six over the deep mid-wicket boundary, he reached a historic milestone of crossing 150 sixes in T20 International cricket. With this, he became the second Indian batter after Rohit Sharma to have reached the milestone. 

Rohit Sharma retired from T20Is with 205 sixes in 151 innings, while Suryakumar Yadav has now reached 150* sixes in 86 innings. He became only the fifth batter in the world to do so.

India vs Australia T20 at Canberra called off due to excessive rain 

Rain has had the final say in the capital city in Australia, as the match has been called off after the Indian innings promised plenty of runs before the weather took control. 

The Indian captain and vice-captain, Suryakumar Yadav and Shubman Gill, put on a dazzling partnership between the two. In less than 6 overs, they amassed 62 runs in the partnership. 

Though initially there was a major buzz around the revised DLS target of 71 for Australia if they come out to bat for 5 overs. However, despite multiple inspections, there was no chance of a restart, as the rain never seemed to stop.
