England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) managing director Rob Key confirmed that Jofra Archer will be playing the second game of the five-match test series against the Indian Cricket Team. He said that the Pacers will play one of the next two games.

It might be the case even if he doesn't play at Edgbaston that having him in and around is the best thing. But then he could walk out there and bowl the first ball of the test match. Who knows? All options are available,” 
The second test between India and England will be played at Edgbaston in Birmingham. The game will be played from 2nd July and the hosts are ahead in the series after they won the first game by five wickets.

"In addition to this, one demerit point has been added to Pant’s disciplinary record, for whom it was the first offense in 24 months," the statement added.
"There was no disciplinary hearing as Pant admitted to the offence and accepted the sanction proposed by Richie Richardson of the Emirates ICC Elite Panel of ICC Match Referees," the statement added. 
"The charges were brought in by the on-field umpires, Chris Gaffaney and Paul Reiffel, along with the third umpire Sharfuddoula Ibne Shahid and the fourth umpire, Mike Burns.”
