GT vs LSG 2022 IPL Match Dream11 Prediction: The two new Indian Premier League (IPL) teams, Gujarat Titans (GT) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will kickstart their IPL journey on March 28th in the Wankhede Stadium. Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans (GT) will face KL Rahul spearheaded Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) two days after the IPL 2022 opener.

The Ahmedabad based IPL franchise has one of the strongest bowling lineups in the current IPL season. The bowling department will be led by sensational Mohammad Shami along with Kiwi Lokie Ferguson, who both will be backed by Rashid Khan and R Sai Kishore in the spin department. The likes of Yash Dayal, Dominic Drakes, Jayant Yadav, Pradeep Sangwan, Alzarri Joseph are a few other specialist bowlers who will be seen in action this season for the franchise.

Meanwhile, the Titans will have to play cautiously with their batting. Though the franchise carries serious power-hitters in Hardik Pandya, Vijay Shankar and Rahul Tewatia, none of them has proved consistent in the recent past. While Hardik has been troubled by his back injury, Shankar and Tewatia have performed on an on-and-off basis in the past.

On the other side, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have already taken several blows after most of their overseas players are unavailable for the first few matches. Only Evin Lewis and Dushmantha Chameera are available for the team from their foreign slot.

KL Rahul and Co seemed extremely thin, on paper, with their backup options, however, the coming few days will test the depth of LSG’s squad.

Notably, KL Rahul will also be under the scanner with his captaincy. The cricketer, though, has performed excellently with the bat, his leadership looked misaligned. If the experts are to be believed, the IPL 2022 will prove to be a do or die season for KL Rahul as far as his captaincy prospect is concerned.
