RCB beat LSG by 5 wickets in IPL 2026.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru completed yet another dominating win in the IPL 2026. They defeated Lucknow Super Giants by five wickets at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Wednesday. Put into bat, Lucknow got all out for 146, which Bengaluru chased with around five overs to spare.
Lucknow had a poor start as Aiden Markam got out early. Then, Rishabh Pant got retired hurt which put them under even more pressure. Nicholas Pooran failed to mark yet again, but Mitchell Marsh (40) looked good and played some shots on a wicket that seemed difficult to bat on.
Ayush Badoni (38) and Mukul Choudhary (39) scored some crucial runs but overall it was a poor batting effort as Lucknow got all out for just 146. Rasikh Salam picked four wickets, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar bagged three for Bengaluru.
Bengaluru lost Phil Salt early, but Virat Kohli (49) took the attack to the Lucknow bowlers in power play. He stitched 57 runs partnership with Devdutt Padikkal, who score ten. Rajat Patidar (27) and Jitesh Sharma (23) did further damage that took the game away from Lucknow.
Although, the visitors lost the quick wickets in the end, Tim David and Romario Shepherd finished the game perfectly as Bengaluru won the game by five wickets.
