Sri Lanka reveals its brand new jersey for the ICC T20 World Cup 2021.

ICC T20 World Cup 2021: The Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC) on Monday revealed its brand new T20I jersey for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2021 one day after announcing its final squad for the mega ICC event.

Senior batsman Dinesh Chandimal gave a glimpse of the jersey which is designed with a combination of Yellow, navy blue and a tinge of turquoise.

SLC on 10th October announced its updated T20I squad for the T20 World Cup which includes the likes of all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga, Dasun Shanaka and others.

Shanaka has been named the skipper of the side while Dhananjaya de Silva has been appointed as his deputy for the showpiece event.

Sri Lanka Squad for T20 World Cup 2021: Dasun Shanaka (Captain), Kusal Perera, Dinesh Chandimal, Dhananjaya De Silva (Vice Captain), Pathum Nissanka, Charith Asalanka, Avishka Fernando, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Chamika Karunaratne, Wanindu Hasaranga, Dushmantha Chameera, Lahiru Kumara, Maheesh Theekshana, Akila Dananjaya, Binura Fernando.

The Lankan Lions will open their account in the World Cup in a match against Namibia on 18th October in Abu Dhabi.

As far as India’s T20I jersey is concerned, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has informed that the new-look jersey will be revealed on 12th October. A special Instagram live will be organised by the MPL Sports and fans are urged to join like never before.
