The eighth edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup has already begun on October 16 with the qualifier round matches between the bottom eight teams. The Super12 kickstarted on October 22 and so far we are already halfway through the elite tournament. Several memorable matches have been witnessed so far and it’s been exciting to watch back-to-back action amongst the best teams in the world.

The T20 World Cup 2022 is scheduled to host 45 matches between 12 selected teams in the span of a month. The teams include Australia, India, Pakistan, England, South Africa, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Netherlands, Ireland and Zimbabwe.

The matches will be held in seven different venues across Australia. The list of elite stadiums includes – Adelaide Oval, Melbourne Cricket Ground, Sydney Cricket Ground, Perth Stadium, The Gabba, Bellerive Oval and Kardinia Park.

The reigning champions, Australia locked horns with the runner-up of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021, New Zealand in the T20 World Cup 2022 Super12 opener. Meanwhile, the final of the tournament will be held on November 13 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
