South Africa has undoubtedly been one of the most dangerous T20I sides in the world in recent times. The team is currently placed 4th in the ICC T20I team rankings. The team as a whole has displayed some high-quality performances and is in the fine form currently. T20 World Cup 2022: South Africa’s Players to Watch out for

1. Quinton De KockQuinton De Kock has been the pillar of South Africa’s batting line up in white ball cricket particularly since quite few years in the past. The left hander has got the ability to play fearless strokes right from the beginning while opening the batting and provide his team with perfect starts. 

The left hander has scored a total of 2032 runs in 71 T20I innings so far and will thus be an important part of his team in the upcoming T20 World Cup.

2. Heinrich Klaasen – Heinrich Klaasen has been one of the most impactful batters for his side while batting down the order in recent matches. The right hander can go for the big shots at will and provide perfect finsihing touches to his team and also help his side chase down totals. 

His brilliant explosive batting style earns him a unique reputation among the rest. The wicket keeper has scored 651 runs so far at a strike rate of 148 in his T20I career. His good form will be a big boost to the South African side in the T20 World Cup.

3) Kagiso Rabada Kagiso Rabada has been one of the most efficient bowlers in limited overs formats right since his debut in 2015. The pacer has the ability to choke the runs and pick wickets at the same time. His amazing economical spells of bowling has been of great use to his side over the years. 

The 27 year old has picked up 54 wickets in 49 T20I matches so far in his career and will be an important member of the bowling department of his team in the T20 World Cup.

T20 World Cup 2022: Winning Prediction

The South African side seems to be one of the strongest contenders to lift the T20 World Cup this time. The team has displayed some of the most beautiful performances in the shortest format of the game in the recent times. However the side will face some stuff competition from top notch sides like India and Pakistan in the Super 12s which might make things tougher for the Proteas. 

South Africa however consists of some of the best T20I players in the world each of whom can be highly impactful on a given day. Hence it will be fair enough to say that the team will atleast make it into the semi finals of the T20 World Cup and might well also go on to win the title for the first time in their history.
