The Royal Challengers Bangalore have had a relatively successful campaign in the IPL 2022 season. The RCB management has tried many players and has given opportunities to all the youngsters. 1) Anuj Rawat might be Released by RCB:
The RCB management was very keen on playing Anuj Rawat alongside Faf Du Plessis. They also backed their decision for 8 to 9 matches. This move did pay off in the initial phase of the tournament. Anuj was firing well. He was playing his illustrious cover drives and was dealing well with the short balls. Anuj hails from Delhi. However, he did struggle in the final few games until Rajat Patidar eventually replaced him. Ever since Rajat’s arrival he hasn’t given the RCB management a chance to think of any change.
The RCB management will now have to pick between both the players. They can still back Anuj and keep him along with the team. But this will keep him from the opportunities that he could get in other teams. So, it would be great for both the parties if they parted ways. Anuj scored 129 runs in 8 games.
