IPL 2023 Schedule: IPL 2023 has been scheduled between 31 March 2023 and 28 May 2023. The IPL 2023 will feature 74 matches with the group and playoff stage. The defending champion Gujarat Titans will face the Chennai Super Kings in the opening match of the 2023 IPL on March 31st in Ahmedabad. The last league match is on May 21, and the final match is set to be played on May 28. This season, there are 18 doubleheaders. The home-and-away concept is back; each team will play seven home matches and seven away matches in the league stage.

The 2023 Indian Premier League, also known as IPL 16, is the sixteenth season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The IPL is the T20 cricket league established by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The Tata Group is the title sponsor for IPL seasons 2022 and 2023. IPL 2023 Schedule
This IPL season will see “seventy-four” matches, which include seventy league matches (each team will play fourteen matches), two quarterfinals, one eliminator, and the final match. Teams that win six matches usually qualify for the semifinal and elimination stages of the tournament.

The BCCI has announced that there will be no mega-auction for IPL 2023. But still, in the mini-auction, the team can trade in players and release players from their squad. Based on the remaining purse value, teams can add players to their squads in the auction. This year, the IPL franchise’s purse value is increasing by Rs 5 crore. The IPL 2023 format will be the same as IPL 2012. Teams will be divided into 2 groups: Group A and Group B. Now, suppose CSK is in group A. Then CSK will play 2 matches with teams in group A and 1 match with teams in group B. CSK will also play one more match with a randomly selected team in Group B. So for each team, it’s 14 league matches.
