Weakness of RCB: 

The weakness is the lack of an experienced or known name in the middle-order. They have tried to fill the gap with the Mahipal Lomror and Anuj Rawat. This is one place that RCB could have filled during the auction. Karun Nair or Suresh Raina could have been a could option. The spin department looks over-reliant on Wanindu Hasaranga.

The biggest opportunity is for RCB, the entire team. They have a good batting lineup, something that they always had but their bowling is looking good. They must try to get their hands on the trophy. Mahipal Lomror or Anuj Rawat are certainly going to get many games. Both these batsmen will get 7 to 8 games. They can make a good impression in these games. Shabaz Ahmed can also make a mark.  

Threats for the Royal Challengers Bangalore: 

The threats are not many as such. But Glenn Maxwell will have to have a good season. On his day he will win you games single-handedly. There is still a big question mark whether Dinesh Karthik is an ideal finisher. The reason is that Dinesh’s best season with the bat was for Mumbai back in 2013 when he batted number 3.  

X-Factor Players: 

If RCB can get Sherfane Rutherford in the mix, he can be explosive. Glenn Maxwell does what he does best, entertain. Virat also has a big season due with the bat, if he gets going RCB will make their way through.
