WTC Points Table: India Plunge in Points Table Following South Africa Loss, Pakistan Also Suffers Major Blow

Temba Bavuma led South Africa team registered a historic win over India in the Kolkata Test. South Africa has gained a huge advantage in the World Test Championship i.e. WTC Points Table due to this win. South Africa has jumped two places and reached the top-2 directly. On the other hand, Shubman Gill led Team India has suffered a loss in the WTC Points Table with this defeat.
India has slipped from third to fourth position, while Sri Lanka is now at number three. Let us tell you, South Africa had set a target of 124 runs for India to win, which Team India could not chase and was all out for 93 runs. Shubman Gill did not come to bat due to injury.
Before the first Test, South Africa were fourth with 50 percent points. However, their victory over India has now lifted them to 66.67 percent, propelling Temba Bavuma's team to second. India, meanwhile, has only 54.17 percent points. Australia remains in first place with 100 percent points.

Apart from this, Sri Lanka is at number three with 66.67 points percentage, whereas Pakistan's team is at number five with 50 points percentage.
England's team is at number six, whose total points percentage is 43.33. Apart from this, Bangladesh, West Indies and New Zealand are at the last three positions, out of which only the Kiwi team has not played a single match in this WTC cycle so far.
