WTC Final 2023: India’s WTC Final Injury list, Some Players are Doubtful for World Test Championship Final

WTC Final 2023: India’s WTC Final Injury list: The world test championship will be played between India and Australia from 7th June to 11th June at Lords Cricket Ground. On 25th April, Team India announced their strongest possible player list for the world test championship Final.

The list is full of talented young players and experienced players. The top order has Subhman Gill, Captain Rohit Sharma and Cheteshwar Pujara, who have a responsibility for providing a perfect start for the team. The middle order has Ajinkya Rahane, and Virat Kohli will take care of the team if early wickets fall.

India has Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin and Axar Patel in the all-rounder section, Who are the best all-rounders for the Indian team and will lead the team in both batting and bowling departments Shardul Thakur, Mohammed Siraj, Mohammed Shami, and Umesh Yadav will lead the bowling department.

Rohit Sharma(C), Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, KS Bharat(WK), Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Axar Patel, Shardul Thakur, Mohammed Siraj, Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav, KL Rahul, Jaydev Unadkat.

Team Australia 15-member full Squad:

Pat Cummins(C), David Warner, Alex Carey(Wk), Steve Smith, Cameron Green, Josh Hazelwood, Marcus Harris, Travis Head, Josh Inglis, Usman Khawaja, Marnus Labuschangne, Scott Boland, Matthew Renshaw, Mitchell Starc.

Players Who will Miss the ICC WTC Final 2023:

Jasprit Bumrah

Jasprit Bumrah is the first player who will miss the world test championship final. He suffers from a back injury from the last T20 world cup and has not played any match since then. He was not available for IPL 2023 and will also miss the world test championship. He has undergone a surgery and will likely return to NCA very soon.

Rishabh Pant

An Indian wicketkeeper-batsman who had a road accident in December 2022. Due to this, he has been hospitalized for a long time and also missed the all matches of IPL 2023 and is not included in India’s Squad for the test championship.

Shreyas Iyer

Shreyas Iyer is suffering from a lower back injury and is likely to go for Surgery next week. He was ruled out from IPL 2023 and will miss the WTC final too. BCCI will look for him in the ODI world cup 2023 if he gets himself back to the ground.

Players who are selected but doubtful for availability:

KL Rahul

While fielding against RCB in IPL 2023 at Ekana Cricket Stadium, KL Rahul got injured himself and now, he is likely to miss the IPL 2023. if he doesn’t get fit quickly, then he may also miss the WTC final.

Jaydev Unadkat

Jaydev Unadkat got injured while bowling in the nets for Lucknow SuperGiants. Since then, he was ruled out of IPL 2023. He is also doubtful about the WTC final 2023.

Players who are not 100% fit but still playing IPL

Umesh Yadav and Shardul Thakur hasn’t played few IPL matches due to injury or work load, but they are playing for their respective teams. they have very less chance of missing the WTC final.
