WPL 2023
The Women’s Premier League (WPL) is the women’s Twenty20 cricket league played in India. It is organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The first season will run in Mumba DY Patil and Brabourne Stadium in March 2023 with 5 franchises. The Women’s Premier League aims to provide a platform for women’s cricket in India, and promote gender equality and inclusivity in the sport.
WPL 2023 Schedule PDF Download
The Women’s T20 Challenge is a professional women’s cricket league in India that was first held in 2018. It features three teams, comprising of some of the best female cricketers from India and around the world, competing in a series of T20 matches.
In February 2022, BCCI announced plans to launch the women’s version of the Indian Premier League, India’s premier men’s Twenty20 competition, replacing the women’s T20 competition.
First match of the Women’s Premier League 2023 is between Gujrat Titans and Mumbai Indians on 4th March in DY Patil Stadium.
