WPL 2023: Issy Wong’s Hat Trick with Sciver’s impressive knock led Mumbai to the final of WPL: The eliminator Between MI-W and UP-W at D.Y. Patil, Mumbai won by the homies (Mumbai Indians) by 72 runs. The Match was very exciting as Mumbai dominated in the first innings and led the Match into their hand. But warriorz also fought very well.

At the start of the second innings, UP seemed in a problematic situation as the wickets kept on getting down, but the partnership between Navgire and G. Harris balanced their team and led them back into the game,o, but it did not go long. In the end, the Match was in the hand of Mumbai, whereas the Warriorz kept losing their wicket and hence looses the Match as well.

Sciver led the Match single-handedly into the hand of Mumbai. She performed very well and scored 72 runs and also took 1 Wicket. Sciver is currently the third most run-scorer this season, as the first position was acquired by DC’s skipper M. lanning. Today Sciver showed admirable intent in playing during batting in the first inning of the Match, and she played good shots that were needed and respected the ball when it was good.

Navgire, who was not so impressive in the season so far, played very well in the eliminator match and scored 43 runs. She is the only player who performed well in this Match in the batting section of UP, and if someone supports her, the result may be different.

Issy Wong, in the eliminator match, which was held on 24 march, makes a beautiful record of becoming the first player to take a hat-trick in the WPL. She had taken four wickets in the Match and led Mumbai to have a ticket to the final.
