IPL 2021: Worry for Mumbai Indians as Surya Kumar Yadav flops in the opener against Delhi
IPL 2021: Worry for Mumbai Indians as Surya Kumar Yadav flops in the opener against Delhi.
IPL 2021: Mumbai Indians flamboyant batsman and Mumbai?s captain in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Surya Kumar Yadav flopped to score big runs against Delhi in the opener. Yadav leading Mumbai could not defeat Delhi who put up the mammoth total of 206 runs.
Surya Kumar Yadav had a very successful IPL run last year when Mumbai Indians emerged as the winners for the 5th time. However, his flop show in the first game will be a worry for the 5times champion as he will be one of the key players who make the core of the side.
In response of the massive 206 runs chase, Mumbai was wrapped up for mere 130 runs. For Delhi, Nitish Rana played a quickfire inning of 74 of 37 balls. Surya Kumar Yadav was dismissed for just 7 runs while youngster Yashashvi Jaiswal who plays for Rajasthan Royals went for a duck.
Yadav in past has been phenomenal for Mumbai Indians. He has taken the responsibility in his shoulders and has come a long way. He has played a key role in making Mumbai Indians the most successful franchise. Yadav?s form will be really important for the defending champions.
