IPL 2021: Amount of purse value left with each franchise for the mini auctions 2021.

IPL 2021: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released the rules for the conduction of the mini-auctions 2021. Since the BCCI has approved the induction of two new teams to the existing pool of 8 franchise in 2022, the full-fledged auction will be conducted in 2022 only. BCCI has decided to carry out the fourteenth season of Indian Premier League with mini auctions.

The exact dates for mini-auctions are not yet disclosed but according to the close sources from BCCI, the mini-auction are expected somewhere in the second week of February. To be specific 11th February.

Also, the board has asked all the franchise to release the relevant players on or before 20th January. The procedure with all the franchise has already started. All the list of retained players and released players will be given to BCCI as soon as possible.

All the players had signed the 3 years contract in 2018, that ended in the last IPL season. The franchise will have to renew the contracts with each retained players for another few years.

All the teams are given rights to retain three key players along with two others using Right To Match card. The franchises will have to buy the players within the set purse limit and it will not get increased in IPL 2021. A total of 85 Crores is the maximum purse value and the further left value will be decided after the franchises retain the players.
