South Africa T20 World Cup 2021 Squad Announced

South Africa T20 World Cup 2021 Squad: South Africa has announced its 15-men strong T20I contingent to tour UAE and Oman for the forthcoming showpiece event of ICC. The squad is led by 31-years old batter Temba Bavuma.

Cricket South Africa (CSA) has left everyone stunned by excluding the two biggest superstars of South Africa cricket. Dashing batsman and former Protea skipper Faf du Plessis along with all-rounder Chris Morris has been left out of the squad.

Du Plessis is out of white-ball action since December last year and no match practice could be the reason for his exclusion.

George Linde, Andile Phehlukwayo, and Lizaad Williams are kept as reserve players.

“It has been a busy last few months for the Proteas, and we have had enough time to assess our options and we are pleased with the outcome,” he added.

The wickets will be held by experienced Quinton de Kock.
