Sanju Samson or Jitesh Sharma? Who will keep wickets for India in the Asia Cup 2025? Viral video makes everything clear

Jitesh Sharma did a fantastic job for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, while Sanju Samson has been sensational as a opener for India.

The Indian Cricket Team have reached Dubai and is currently putting in the hard yards for the Asia Cup 2025. The tournament will begin on 9th September and will see the final on 28th September at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai.

The Indian Cricket Team will begin their campaign on 10th September against the United Arab Emirates at the Dubai Stadium. Ahead of the game, the Suryakumar Yadav-led side were seen grinding hard in the net session at the Academy in Dubai.

Going into the tournament, the India team management will have a lot of headaches to deal with, especially with the playing XI. One of the major issues will be who will keep the wickets for the team in the Asia Cup 2025.

India has two options in Sanju Samson and Jitesh Sharma. Looking at the performances over the last years, they clearly show that Samson should be there. But the return of Shubman Gill has changed things completely for the side.

Gill, no doubt, will bat in the top order, and this means that one of Sanju Samson and Jitesh Sharma will have to bat in the lower order. But Sanju not being suited best to bat in the lower-order, there are chances that Jitesh might take the spot in the side.

Jitesh Sharma did a fantastic job for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. He finished a lot of games for his side, and based on his form, he might take the spot in the XI for the Asia Cup 2025.
