How many times has India won the Asia Cup title?

The Indian Cricket Team has been dominant in the Asia Cup ever since the tournament started in 1984. Till 2016, the tournament was played in ODI format, and the Men in Blue had been sensational, winning more than five titles in the history of the event.
How many times has India won the Asia Cup title?
If we count the number of titles, then India has won eight Asia Cup titles. They won the first edition in 1984 but then after that, they won three more titles. However, they had to wait for a long time to win their next title. It came in 2010 when they beat Sri Lanka in the final.
India also won the last edition of the Asia Cup in 2023 when they beat Sri Lanka in the final at Colombo. They would be keen to carry on and add another title to their kitty when they enter the upcoming Asia Cup 2025, which will be played in September.
India will begin their campaign in the Asia Cup 2025 against the UAE on 10th September. Following that, they will be locking horns with Pakistan on 14th September. Their last league game will be against Oman. The game will be played on 19th September at the Sheikh Zayed International Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
