Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans (GT) have already qualified for the playoffs. The franchise officially has got a big ‘Q’ against their name in the points table after featuring in 12 matches. GT have managed to win nine out of 12 and have been simply superb in their debut season.

Another debutant team, Lucknow Super Giants is highly probable to seal a playoff berth. KL Rahul and Co just need a solitary victory in their remaining two matches to qualify for the playoffs.

LSG will lock horns against Rajasthan Royals on May 15 in their next fixture following which they will compete against Kolkata Knight Riders on 18th May.

Even if LSG lose their remaining two matches, they will still have a few chances to make it to the final four. LSG have 16 points already and in the end will boil down to the net run rate.

Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan Royals are also probable to seal a seat in the playoffs of the Tata IPL 2022. RR have 14 points already in their bag and needs to do well in their remaining two matches.

Of late, RR have shown derailed performance despite displaying brilliance in the initial matches. The inaugural champions will have to buckle up in their last two league stage matches to get a berth in the playoffs without the interference of net run rate.

Royal Challengers Bangalore:

A big tussle is being seen between RCB, DC and Punjab Kings to get the fourth playoff seat. Though Delhi is also a good contender to pip RCB and PBKS in the points table to get a top-four finish, however, we back Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to take up the final place due to their consistent performance throughout the IPL 2022.

RCB are on roll this season as the franchise has notched up 14 rating points in their 12 outings. Their next two challenges are against Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans respectively.

To get a sureshot playoff berth, RCB will have to win both their remaining matches otherwise it will boil down to the net run rate, which is their weak link. The net run rate of RCB currently stands at -0.115 which is a concern for the team going forward.
