Tilak Verma-led India-A started the campaign by defeating Pakistan-A by seven runs in the first match of the tournament. In the second match, the Young Men in Blue defeated United Arab Emirates by seven wickets in a one-sided match.

In the India-A vs United Arab Emirates match played at Al Amerat Cricket Ground, UAE captain Basil Hameed won the toss and elected to bat first and were all-out for 105 runs in just 16.5 overs. Rahul Chopra scored a half-century in 50 balls for the team while captain Basil Hameed scored 22 runs in 12 balls. Eight UAE players failed to score even in double digits.

India-A chased the small target of 107 runs in just 10.5 overs and registered their second win of the tournament. Abhishek Sharma played a brilliant innings of 58 runs in just 24 balls with the help of five fours and four sixes, while captain Tilak Verma also played a controlled innings of 21 runs.
