PAK vs NZ 2023: After the enthralling end to the T20I series, which was drawn, Pakistan and New Zealand will now lock horns with each other in the five-match ODI series. The first game will be played on the 27th April followed by second game slated to take place on the 29th. Both games will be played in Rawalpindi. The focus will then shift to the third game that will take place on 3rd May. The last two matches will be played on the 5th and 7th of May respectively. The three games are slated to take in Karachi.

PAK vs NZ 2023: In what has been the lasted development, New Zealand has added young Mark Chapman to the ODI side for the series against Pakistan after his staggering show in the T20I series. The 50-over series between the two teams will begin from the 27th of April.
Mark Chapman was the best performer for New Zealand in the T20I series and was the main reason behind Black Caps drawing the series 2-2. The left-hander ended the series as the highest run-getter as he piled up 290 runs in five innings he played.
Chapman made vital contributions for his side in all five games and put them in a comfortable position. He registered scores of 34, 65*, 16*, 71* and a staggering 104* in the last game that helped his side draw the series. He was awarded Player of the Series for his heroics as well.

Following his heroics he was added to the ODI squad. New Zealand head coach Gary Stead elaborated on what tempted them to add a left-hander into the team. He said:
“The way Mark’s played against one of the best T20 bowling attacks in the world has been nothing short of outstanding. His match-winning knock in the fifth and deciding match was particularly special and we’re happy to have someone in such strong form added to our ODI squad.”
