New Zealand Cricket Announces Central Contracts For The 2023-24 Season: New Zealand has released a full-time contract of 20 players for season 23-24, but Trent Boult, who is set to return to the National Team for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, will be taking the Casual playing Agreement, whereas the Other 20 Players getting fulltime Contract.

New Zealand’s fast bowler Adam Milne got the central Contract after having a good performance this year, especially against Pakistan. In the Last Year, Milne has played 11 T20I, Five one-day Internationals and took 24 wickets, unlacing his Five Wicket Haul during the T20I series against Sri Lanka in April.

As per the Reports, Trent Boult skipped the full-time Contract with the New Zealand Cricket Board in August 2022, so he could play franchise Cricket in Various Countries. Boult is now 33 years old and wants to spend time with his family and children. 

Trent Boult will be Playing for New Zealand in ICC ODI World Cup 2023:

Both Boult and New Zealand Cricket will have a mutual agreement, Boult will be part of the New Zealand squad for the ODI World Cup 2023 in India around Oct- Nov. Trent Boult’s return to Kiwis Squad will help his team to have a good pace attack in the vital tournament.

Trent Boult played his last international cricket in the T20 World Cup semi-final against Pakistan, and recently, he was playing Franchise Cricket in India for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2023.

New Zealand Head Coach Gary Stead on Adam Milne:

Gary Stead said, “Adam has worked hard and has shown some excellent cricket in the past few years and given many Phenomenal performances for His team, and he earns this contract offer.”

“He is one of the best Fast bowlers in New Zealand, and we were so glad and happy about his consistent performance in the recent home matches and against Pakistan.” 

Finn Allen, Mark Chapman, and Blair Tickner have been included in the mid-year contracted players list, and they replaced Trent Boult, Colin de Grandhomme and Martin Guptill, who was previously holding the annual Contract. Ajaz Patel, who was on the annual contract list last year, has not been included in this year’s central contract list.
