MS Dhoni’s CSK ropes in Ireland’s Josh Little as a net bowler: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in its latest development roped in Ireland pacer Josh Little as the net bowler ahead of the TATA IPL 2022. The news was confirmed by Cricket Ireland as they posted about the same on their official Twitter handle on Monday.

The cricket board congratulated the 22-years old for this fantastic opportunity for one of the most prestigious IPL franchises.

“Congrats to Josh Little who is heading off on a development opportunity with the Chennai Super Kings in the early stages of the upcoming IPL. The experience as a net bowler for CSK should be fantastic,” wrote Cricket Ireland in its appreciation tweet.

Little began his international career in a T20I match against Hong Kong way back in September 2016 but unfortunately couldn’t pick a wicket. However, the left-arm seamer was exceptional in his ODI debut against England as he uprooted four wickets, of which one was English skipper Eoin Morgan.

The 22-years old also took part in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 Qualifiers where he remained Ireland’s pick of the bowlers. He picked two wickets against UAE in four overs but ended in a losing cause. 

He scalped seven wickets in the tournament with a good economy of around 5 and at an average of 16.71.

The pacer will be joining CSK’s camp as the net bowler.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) began its camp in Surat:

Meanwhile, the four times IPL winner, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has kickstarted its pre-IPL camp in Surat, Gujarat. The franchise confirmed the development through a couple of social media posts and tweets.

The camp is being attended by skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni along with several other young cricketers of the franchise. Bowling coach Lakshmipathy Balaji was also seen in Surat.

As per the reports, other members of the team will start joining the franchise and its bio-secure bubble after March 10. The support staff members will also be entering the secure bubble after March 10th. 

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is fixed to play the Tata IPL 2022 opener match against the runner-up of the IPL 2021, Kolkata Knight Riders. The fixture will be held in the iconic Wankhede Stadium on March 26th, beginning at 7:30 PM (India Time).
