Weakness of the Delhi Capitals in IPL 2022: 

There is no evident weakness as all bases are covered by the team. But if the spin of Kuldeep Yadav doesn’t come off well, the team lacks a backup spinner. Prithvi Shaw hasn’t been in the best of form in the Ranji Trophy, this can also be a point of concern.  

Opportunities for the Delhi Capitals: 

The opportunities are for many young players. The absence of 5 overseas players has depleted the team and they may have only 2 overseas players in the first game. So, Yash Dhull is likely to get a game. Tim Siefert can also get a game or two. Kuldeep Yadav, who has been under scrutiny for doing nothing wrong, can also prove a point.  

Threats for the Delhi Capitals in IPL 2022: 

The threat is the absence of big names in the first few games. David Warner, Anrich Nortje, Mitchell Marsh, Lungi Ngidi, Mustafizur Rahman, etc. all these players will be missed in the first 3 to 4 games. In their absence, the Indian players will have to stand up and show character. Another threat is the injury of Anrich Nortje. After the injury, the first thing that drops for a fast bowler is his pace. The same might be the case with Nortje.
