On Monday evening, the IPL 2022 season saw one of its finest games. It was a perfect conquest between bat and ball when the Kolkata Knight Riders took on the Rajasthan Royals. Rajasthan Royals scored a mammoth 217-run target for the KKR team. But KKR also gave it a good chase by reaching 210. The stars of the game were Yuzvendra Chahal and Jos Butler. Butler smoked his 2nd 100 in this tournament and Yuzvendra Chahal got a hat-trick. Here is a look at the other hat-trick heroes in the IPL:

IPL 2022, Lakshmipathy Balaji Takes First-Ever IPL Hat-Trick:

Lakshmipathy Balaji wrote his name down in history books when he got the first-ever IPL hat-trick. He created this milestone in the game against the Punjab Kings in the very first season. Balaji was representing the Chennai Super Kings that season. His hat-trick comprised the wickets of Irfan Pathan, Piyush Chawla, and VRV Singh.

Amit Mishra has 3 Hat-Tricks in the IPL:

Amit Mishra is a legend of the IPL. This leg spinner had a lot to offer to any team which he represented. Amit has taken 3 hat-tricks in the IPL. It would have been 4 if Trent Boult wouldn’t have dropped a catch in the 2019 IPL edition when Mishra was on a hat-trick! But keeping the ifs and buts aside, Mishra has taken 3 hat-tricks while playing for 3 different franchises. His first hat-trick came in the very first season when he was playing for the Delhi Daredevils against the Deccan Chargers. The second one was when he was playing for the Deccan Chargers against the Kings XI team. The last one was in 2013 while representing SRH against Pune Warriors India
