IPL 2026 points table after RR vs RCB: Rajasthan Royals thrash Royal Challengers Bengaluru to continue their winning run

Rajasthan Royals continued their winning run in IPL 2026 as they beat Royal Challengers Bengaluru to win their fourth straight game. They beat the opposition by six wickets at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on Friday. Put into bat, Bengaluru struggled to start well but still managed 201, in response, Rajasthan chased the target in 18 overs.

RCB had a worst possible start to their innings as Phil Salt lost his wicket on the first ball. Virat Kohli (32) started scratchily but played some crisp shots to play an impactful innings. But Rajasthan kept taking wickets at regular intervals and put Bengaluru under pressure, leaving them at 94 for six.

Captain Rajat Patidar (63) played a fighting hand and kept his team in the game. Impact player Venkatesh Iyer (29*) played his part while Romario Shepherd (22) also made a valuable contribution as Bengaluru posted a total of 201 for eight.

RR vs RCB: Vaibhav Sooryavanshi takes game away from RCB

In the chase, Rajasthan lost Yashasvi Jaiswal early, but Vaibhav Sooryavanshi (78) took the game away from Bengaluru with his brutal innings. The opening batter hammered a 15-ball half-century and added a 108-run stand with Dhruv Jurel (81*) for the second wicket.

After Sooryavanshi’s wicket, Rajasthan lost a few quick wickets, but Jurel kept his calm and held one end up, hitting a patient half-century. Ravindra Jadeja supported him well as Rajasthan chased the target with six wickets in hand.
