WTC Final 2023, Australia Defeated India in ICC World Test Championship 2023: The WTC Final 2023 was between India and Australia at Kennington Oval Cricket Ground, London. Australia won the WTC Final 2023 by 209 runs.

Australia has dominated the game from Day 1, they scored 469 runs in their First inning and declared their Second Inning on 270/8. Steve Smith and Travis Head played exceptionally well in the match, scoring 155 and 181 runs in the WTC Final 2023.

Scott Boland has bowled well, and he was the perfect replacement for Josh Hazlewood for Australia and took five wickets, whereas Nathan Lyon took five wickets.

India lost the WTC Final 2023 because of poor batting by the Skipper Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli and Chateshwar Pujara, they got out early and led Australia to dominate them in the Whole Inning.

Indian Bowlers showed good cricket, especially Mohd. Siraj, who was hitting the ball hard, Bowled some magnificent spells and took five wickets. Mohd. Shami and Ravindra Jadeja got four wickets each in the WTC Final 2023

Australia Lifts the WTC Final 2023 Trophy:

Australian batters have played far better cricket than Indian Batters as they played 121 overs in their 1st inning and scored a massive 469 runs on the scoreboard with the help of Smith and Head’s century.

India played 70 overs only and got all out at 296 runs, Ajinkya Rahane and Shardul Thakur were the only batters who scored a half-century. After the First inning of both teams, Australia had a lead of more than 173 runs.

In the first Inning, From Indian Side, Mohd. Siraj has taken four wickets, whereas Mohd. Shami and Shardul Thakur could take only two wickets. From the Australia Side, Pat Cummins took three wickets, whereas Scott Boland, Cameron Green and Mitchell Starc got two wickets each.

Australian Batters were quite struggling in their inning, but with the help of a Partnership between Alex Carey and Mitchell Starc, they declared 270 runs and Gave India 444 runs target.

India failed to chase the massive target and lost the WTC Final 2023; They again got all out at 234 runs. Indian batters lost the Wickets easily and couldn’t build a good partnership. Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahne have made 49 and 46 runs, respectively.

In the Second inning, From Australian Side, Nathan Lyon took four wickets, whereas Scott Boland took three wickets. From Indian Side, Ravindra Jadeja got three wickets and Umesh Yadav and Mohd. Shami has taken two wickets each.
