Jofra Archer: The wait for the Indian Premier League is over. The league will kick start on 31st March with a game between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings. If we talk about Mumbai Indians, the Rohit Sharma-led side will begin their campaign against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on 2nd April at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. It was a forgetful season for them last year as they were the winners of the wooden spoon. They would want to turn things around and make a staggering comeback.

Mumbai Indians are gearing up in full flow for the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The five-time champions are leaving no stone unturned in the build-up to the tournament as they have been grinding hard in the net sessions and are making sure that every player is in the fine nick for them.
They recently had a practice game ahead of their first match against RCB. Although the franchise didn’t reveal the scorecards. But they posted various photos and videos of the game. However, one video that caught the attention of many was premier pacer Jofra Archer’s bowling to skipper Rohit Sharma.

The franchise posted the video of Archer’s over in MI colours. The pacer bowled three balls to skipper Rohit and it’s fair to say that the batter struggled to hit him in the balls he faced. If this was not enough, the pace made Rohit’s opening partner look clueless.

Jofra Archer notably was acquired by the team ahead of the IPL 2022 auction but the pacer wasn’t available for the league last year due to an injury. The English fast bowler has now regained his full fitness and has been bowling like a dream. He will be vital for MI’s chances this year in the absence of Jasprit Bumrah.
