Pakistan are fixed in Group A along with India, the United States, Canada, and Ireland. They will play their first contest of the T20 World Cup 2024 on 6th June against the United States at Grand Prairie Stadium, Dallas. Babar Azam was announced as the skipper of the side replacing Shaheen Afridi who led the team for a T20I Series against New Zealand in January 2024.
Given that Babar Azam is going to lead the team and we all heard him in the pre-match conference talking about the new attacking brand of cricket, the squad may consist of aggressive top and middle-order players.
