Sourav Ganguly breaks his silence on Virat and Rohit?s batting form in the IPL 2022
Sourav Ganguly breaks his silence on Virat and Rohit?s batting form in the IPL 2022: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President, Sourav Ganguly recently broke his silence on Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma?s poor form in the ongoing edition of the Tata Indian Premier League (IPL). Ganguly predicts that both the players will be soon amongst runs.
The runs from the willow of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have dried up. During the entire first half of the Indian Premier League, fans waited to see dominating innings from the duo, however, it never came. While Rohit Sharma has failed to capitalise on his brisk starts, Virat has registered a couple of ducks and has only managed to score 128 runs from nine outings.
Sourav Ganguly said both, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are great players. He is optimistic that the duo will be back in their sublime touch.
?They (Rohit and Kohli) are great players and I am sure they will get back in form. I hope they start scoring runs soon. I don?t know what is going on in Virat Kohli?s head but I am sure he will regain his form and get some good runs. He is a great player,? Ganguly was quoted as saying by News18.

Sourav Ganguly impressed with Umran Malik:
The former Indian cricketer further heaped praises on young speedster Umran Malik, who has been wreaking havoc of late in the Tata IPL 2022.
?Oh, it?s very interesting, I am watching [the IPL]. Any team can win and everyone is playing well. The two new teams ? Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants ? are doing well. Umran Malik?s bowling has been eye-catching,? said Ganguly.
?Yadav too has bowled well and so has Khaleel Ahmed. I would say Umran Malik has been the outstanding face of the league so far.?
SRH pacer Umran Malik has already scalped 15 wickets, including a five-for, in the ongoing season and is ranked third in the leading wicket-takers chart. Meanwhile, Umesh Yadav has picked 14 wickets and Khaleel Ahmed has pocketed 11 healthy wickets.
