Babar Azam becomes the fastest player to complete 10,000 runs in T20 cricket.
Pakistani batter Babar Azam achieved this milestone in just 271 matches whereas Caribbean batter Chris Gayle completed 10,000 runs in 285 matches and Indian Star batter Virat Kohli completed 10,000 runs in T20 Cricket in 299 matches. Currently, PCB is organising a domestic franchise-based cricket league in Pakistan and most of the Pakistani players are participating with some of the international players.
Babar Azam is leading Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League 2024 but they started the tournament with two consecutive losses against Quetta Gladiators and Karachi Kings, respectively. In the 6th match of Pakistan Super League 2024, Karachi Kings defeated Peshawar Zalmi at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore by seven wickets. The Player of the match was Mir Hamza, who took three wickets in this match for Karachi Kings and led his team to register their first victory of the tournament.
