Pakistan vs Hong Kong Asia Cup 2022 Match 6 Weather Forecast and Pitch Report: While India and Afghanistan are through to the Super Fours of the ongoing Asia Cup 2022, the vacancy for two is still untouched. The remaining league stage matches in the tournament will decide the next two teams to qualify for the Super Fours.

Tonight’s fixture between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will cover one Super Four berth while the last booking will be done after the fixture of Pakistan vs Hong Kong.

Pakistan and Hong Kong faced defeat in their first match of the Asia Cup 2022. India cleanly handed a defeat to both the opponents, a couple of nights ago.

The do-or-die fixture between Pakistan and Hong Kong is slated to be held on 2nd September at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

So far on the international stage, Hong Kong has never faced Pakistan in the T20Is. Both teams will meet for the first time in tomorrow’s match. However, in three meetings held for the One Day Internationals, Pakistan has convincingly emerged winners against Hong Kong.

Pakistan vs Hong Kong Weather Report:

The temperature is expected to remain a similar zone to what we have seen in the past few days. It’s certainly going to be hot and humid out there with the temperature hovering between 30 to 39 degrees. The humidity is expected at 70 per cent with absolutely no signs of rain. There may be partial cloud cover.

Pakistan vs Hong Kong Pitch Report:

The match will be held in Sharjah which will be a fresh surface as compared to Dubai International Stadium. The last match held here was two nights ago and before that, it had enough time to get a breather and regenerate.

Usually, due to short boundaries, this stadium serves well to the batters who enjoy tonking the opposition bowling unit. It’s the ground where 200 runs are easily on cards and we have seen that in the IPL games as well as during the last year’s T20 World Cup.

However, in the last fixture between Afghanistan and Bangladesh, the latter team got reduced to mere 127 runs in 20 overs. The spinners got healthy support from the surface.

Looking at Pakistan’s ability, they would look to breach the 200 runs mark in order to get in a safe position to win the game. Hong Kong on the other hand would restrict the Men in Green as much as possible.
