Pakistan’s 2025 Cricket Calendar: How Many Matches Will Babar Azam & Co. Play This Year?

The Year 2025 is going to be busy and exciting for the Pakistan National Cricket Team as Babar Azam and his teammates gear up for a packed schedule across all formats. From Tests and ODIs to T20I Internationals, Pakistan’s cricket team is set to face some of the toughest challenges and showcase their talent worldwide.

The schedule includes home games against top cricketing nations such as South Africa. In addition, they will be playing a tri-nation series against Afghanistan and Sri Lanka. Pakistan will play all its remaining international matches on its home soil at three different venues. They will be playing 2 tests, 7 T20Is, and 6 ODIs in 2025.

How Many Matches will Pakistan play in 2025?

In total, Pakistan is expected to play around 16 matches across all formats during 2025. All the matches will be on their home ground at three different venues in Pakistan.

Pakistan will be playing a two-match test series against South Africa as part of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27 Cycle. This series will be very crucial for them to maintain Pakistan’s position among the top test-playing nations.

Pakistan’s ODI-Day International schedule features 6 games, including the bilateral series against South Africa and Sri Lanka, which Pakistan will host. The ODI series against South Africa and Sri Lanka will be three matches.

Pakistan will be playing around 7 T20Is in 2025, including the tri-nation series matches. Pakistan will play three-matches T20I series against South Africa, then they will be playing a Tri-nation T20I series against Afghanistan and Sri Lanka later this year.
