The ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 was host to another washout as game 19 between New Zealand and Pakistan ended in a no result. The match took place at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Saturday, where only 25 overs were possible.

Asked to bat, Pakistan were at 92 for five before rain played the spoilsport. With the match ending in a no result, South Africa has now become the second team to qualify for the semi-final.

Pakistan had another poor outing with the bat as they started losing wickets in the power play itself. Omaima Sohail and Sidra Amin perished within a span of a few balls before Muneeba Ali (22) lost her wicket despite having a decent start.

Aliya Riyaz (28*) looked in good touch and took the team past 90 but they had lost half of their side inside 20 overs before rain washed away the game. For New Zealand, Lea Tahuhu bagged two wickets.
