PAK VS NZ 5th T20I: New Zealand won the 5th T20 international against Pakistan by six wickets. All credit goes to Mark Chapman, who played a fantastic knock of 104* runs, James Neesham scored 45* runs, and Blair Tickner, who picked three crucial wickets.
In the first Inning, Pakistan came to bat, both Babar and Rizwan made a partnership of 51 runs. After that, Haris and Ayub got out on duck. Iftikhar Ahmed played a power-hitting knock of 36 runs, and Imad Wasim (31*) supported his team to set 193 runs. Mohammed Rizwan played a terrific knock of 98* runs in the final T20I against NZ.
In the second innings, New Zealand played outstanding cricket and won the match by six wickets in Rawalpindi. Once again, Mark Chapman played a match-winning knock of 104 runs, helping New Zealand to level the series.
After a poor start from New Zealand Openers, Mark Chapman and James Neesham made a historic partnership of 121 runs. Only Shaheen and Imad took two wickets but couldn’t lead their team to victory.
Mark Chapman knocks the first century:
For the first time in the history of New Zealand Cricket, Mark Chapman became the first batter who scored a century against Pakistan on Pakistani soil in T20I cricket.
The Match-winning innings came from Mark Chapman helped New Zealand multiple times in this series. In five T20I, he scored 290 runs with two half-centuries and one century with a strike rate of 165.5.
James Neesham Shines with ball and bat in this series:
James Neesham performed Phenomenal with the bat and played a knock of 45 runs in the final T20I of the series. Neesham bowled very well in this series and picked a total of 5 wickets in 5 matches.
Another blunder from the Pakistan team:
Pakistan won the first two matches of this series but failed to win the next three games in which he lost two matches. New Zealand drew the series at 2-2 against Pakistan, and it was another setback after they lost the series against Afghanistan.
The overall performance of Pakistan in this series is outstanding, but New Zealand outperformed Pakistan in the last three T20Is. Player of the match and Player of the series goes to Mark Chapman for his valuable 290 runs in five matches for his team. New Zealand players played outstanding cricket in the last three matches of the Pakistan tour.
