Babar Azam becomes the fastest Player to complete 5000 runs in ODIs: Babar Azam reached another milestone in his career after completing the fastest 5000 runs in the ODI format. In the fourth ODI Match against New Zealand, Babar became the fastest player in the history of ODI cricket to reach 5000 runs in just 97 innings, including 17 centuries and 26 half-centuries.

He currently holds the top spot in the ICC Men’s ODI rankings. Babar’s performance will be important for Pakistan in the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

Babar added another milestone in his cricketing career after completing 5000 runs in ODI cricket. He started his ODI career by scoring three consecutive centuries against West Indies in 2016. Babar also holds the record of the fastest Pakistani batsman to complete 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000, and now 5000 runs in ODI Format.

He have an outstanding average of 56.83 in ODIs, which shows his consistency in the ODI format. He is continuously scoring lots of runs for Pakistan at crucial times, which makes him one of the best batsmen in the world. Solid technique and footwork with great timing and placement helped him to reach the milestone of 5000 runs.

Babar reached the milestone of 5000 runs in 97 innings, whereas Hashim Amla reached this milestone in 101 innings. He completed this milestone by taking four innings less than Hashim Amla. Star batsman of India, Virat Kohli, reached this milestone in 114 innings and became the fastest Indian to reach 5000 runs milestone in ODI cricket.

Babar breaks the Record of Virat Kohli:

Babar Azam broke another record of Virat Kohli in ODI Cricket after completing 5000 runs in just 97 innings and becoming the fastest Asian to reach this milestone. He took 17 innings less than Virat Kohli to reach this milestone.

Virat Kohli completed his 5000 runs in ODI in 2013. Currently, Virat Kohli is far ahead of Babar Azam in the ODI format. He scored more than 12,000 runs in ODI cricket in just 265 innings, including 46 hundred and 65 half-centuries.
