2023 World Cup: The BCCI is going to announce the schedule and venue details for World Cup 2023 after the completion of IPL 2023. India is going to host the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

The BCCI has already announced the date of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 in India and is ready to announce the schedule and venue details of the ICC World Cup 2023 after the completion of TATA IPL 2023. The Cricket World Cup is going to be played in the months of October and November at different venues in India.

Team India will play their high voltage match at Narendra Modi Stadium due to the huge seating capacity, and fans are expecting to come in large numbers, so Narendra Modi stadium is the perfect place to host Finals and High Voltage matches.

2023 World Cup Probable Venues:

These venues are in queue to host the World Cup matches and also practice matches. From the 5th of October, these venues are going to host matches of the World Cup 2023 i.e. Nagpur, Chennai, Bengaluru, Trivandrum, Mumbai, Delhi, Lucknow, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Rajkot, Indore and Dharamshala. Out of these stadiums, India will play only on seven venues.

As the Indian Express Report says, India vs Pakistan matches in the 2023 World Cup will be held on only two to three venues, and the venues are likely to be Chennai’s M.A. Chidambaram, Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy and Kolkata’s Eden Gardens. Team Bangladesh will also their most of the Matches at Eden Gardens and Barasapara Stadium (Guwahati).

Indian Team will play their matches with strong Teams like Australia, England and New Zealand on spin-friendly pitches so that India can take more Home Advantage ICC ODI World Cup. More importantly, as during these days, Monsoon season will be in Indian, it will be quite tricky for the BCCI to manage the matches so that they couldn’t get washed out by rain.

BCCI is also upgrading all the stadiums which is sort listed by committee to Conduct the ICC World Cup 2023, the fund of 500 Crores has been allotted to Upgrade the Infrastructure, Pitches and Seating areas of the stadium as the Matches will be seen across the Globe.
