MI vs CSK: Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings crossed swords with each other last time in the 59th game of the IPL 2022. It was sheer dominance from the home side as they made look the opposition clueless and thumped them by 5 wickets.

Batting first, Chennai Super Kings looked clueless against the left-arm seam of Daniel Sams. The Australian pacer removed the top 3 in no time and left them tottering at 17/4. Jasprit Bumrah too came into the scene with wickets to jolt the opposition further. If this was not enough, Riley Meredith, Kumar Kartikeya and Ramandeep Singh also etched their name in the wickets column.

Chasing the target, Mumbai lost Ishan Kishan in the first over. After a bolstering start by Rohit Sharma, the skipper perished too followed by Daniel Sams and Tristan Stubbs to see themselves tumbling at 33/4. But Tilak Varma then held the fort and scored unbeaten 34 runs to take his side home.
