MI, CSK & RCB get insane support from their fans, says David Warner: Delhi Capitals (DC) opener batter David Warner reflected upon his season, following Delhi’s frustrating exit from the IPL 2022, with his new franchise in an interview with Fox Cricket.

Notably, Mumbai Indians denied Delhi Capitals entry into the playoff by defeating them in the virtual knockout match.

Warner opened up on the crowd support in the Indian Premier League. The Aussie cricketer said Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore get insane backing of the crowd in the Indian T20 tournament regardless of where they play (home/away).

“It’s crazy. I think if you play…there’s three specific teams – Mumbai, RCB and Chennai. Doesn’t matter where you play them, even if you are at your home venue, there’s going for them. So yeah, you are up against it. So, hopefully, you don’t come up against them too often.”

The dashing cricketer also revealed how DC head coach Ricky Ponting noticed a little flaw in his batting during the first net session with Delhi Capitals.

“With Ricky, he noticed something in my first net session about where I was picking the bat up. It was just a little small thing that I didn’t even notice and it was at the time of the point of delivery that the bowler was releasing, my bat was still facing down and then I’ll take the bat up.”

“It’s something that in the back of your mind you don’t even think but then when I started doing it, it actually seemed like I had more time. They’re little things from a great player that noticed these things and I just put it into place over there.”

Warner said these little observations most of the time gets unnoticed, however, the correction has helped him get better in his batting.
