Kuldeep IN, Rana OUT – India’s Likely Playing XI for IND vs AUS 2nd ODI

After a disappointing loss in Perth, India will try to bounce back strongly for the IND vs AUS 2nd ODI in Adelaide. As of now, Australia is leading the three-match ODI series by 1-0, and the Indian Team will be looking to level the series by winning the second ODI game. The team management is reportedly planning some big changes; Kuldeep Yadav is likely to return.

Meanwhile, Harshit Rana is expected to miss out on the 2nd ODI match in Adelaide. In the 1st ODI, India’s top order collapsed against the strong bowling unit of Australia. Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Shubman Gill got out early, and Australia capitalized on these early wickets and put pressure on other batters throughout the game. 

However, the rain was putting a huddle in the game, especially in the first inning when India was batting. But the Australian pacers did a fantastic job; they restricted the Indian batters and kept them under pressure from the first over of the game.

The Indian Team was able to score 136/9 in 26 overs. KL Rahul and Axar Patel played a decent knock of 38 and 31 runs, respectively. However, Australia easily chased the target in just 21.1 overs with the loss of only three wickets. Skipper Mitchell Marsh was the player of the match for his superb 46* runs innings.

Kuldeep Yadav has an excellent record in conditions like Australia, and he has performed exceptionally in the recent two-match test series against the West Indies in India. The Chances are high that he will be in the Playing XI in place of Harshit Rana after he misses out on the first ODI game.
