KKR vs MI: Mumbai Indians (batter) Rohit Sharma has caught the eyeball of many after his conversation with Abhishek Nayar ahead of the game against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The opening batter hinted about leaving the franchise after the ongoing edition.

Mumbai Indians will be taking on Kolkata Knight Riders on May 11 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Ahead of the KKR vs MI game, Rohit Sharma was seen having a chat with his former teammate and current assistant coach of KKR Abhishek Nayar. The duo was seen sharing something and the camera captured that.

Kolkata Knight Riders later deleted that video and it sparked a lot of speculations. With the things and the captaincy saga in Mumbai Indians, the words of Rohit Sharma were hard to ignore as it made many speculate about his stint with the franchise.

Rohit Sharma was talking about something and he said that what he created like the temple is changing. He also stated in the end that he isn’t concerned about what is happening and this is his last. The India captain stated:

“Ek ek cheez change ho raha hai…Woh unke upar hai…Jo bhi hai woh mera ghar hai bhai, woh temple jo hai na maine banwaya hai (Everything is changing one by one… It’s on them… Whatever, but it’s my home brother, it’s the temple that I constructed). Bhai mera kya mera to ye last hai (brother, this is my last anyway).”

Mumbai Indians got eliminated from the IPL 2024 recently. They have struggled to get going in the tournament and have performed poorly. The captaincy change hasn’t worked for them as Hardik Pandya has looked clueless as the skipper of the team.

Mumbai Indians have lost 8 out of their 12 games in the tournament so far. They are reeling at the bottom of the table. They would be keen to win their last few games including KKR vs MI and gave their fans something to cheer about in the tournament.
