As per the media reports, LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka was not happy with Zaheer Khan’s performance as a mentor in the last edition of the Indian Premier League. There are speculations that Zaheer might step down from the mentor’s role.
The franchise is making some critical changes to the team management ahead of the IPL 2026 mini-auction. Apart from Kane Williamson, England’s former cricketer Carl Crowe will likely be appointed as LSG’s spin bowling coach.
