Jos Buttler praises Prasidh Krishna in IPL 2022, says, “he is all format player”: Rajasthan Royals (RR) English recruit Jos Buttler has heaped praises on 26-years old Indian pacer Prasidh Krishna. Buttler reckons that Prasidh Krishna has all the required attributes to play all three formats for team India and be successful.

Prasidh has done fairly well in the two matches for Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the ongoing Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. The speedster has scalped three wickets in two matches of the tournament.

“He has some pace in the nets and skills, he’s got all the attributes to be a very successful fast bowler for India in all formats of the game. I see him playing red ball cricket for India as well,” Buttler said at the pre-match conference ahead of Rajasthan’s clash with Royal Challengers Bangalore on Monday.

Prasidh made his India debut last year in March against England. Since his arrival in the international arena, the pacer has given a fair account of himself. In the seven ODIs played, Prasidh has scalped 18 wickets at an impressive economy of 4.84.

Meanwhile, Jos Buttler also talked about the benefit of having an experienced pair of Yuzvendra Chahal and R Ashwin on the team. Rajasthan Royals (RR) game was evenly poised against Mumbai Indians, however, both the spinners played a crucial role and picked timely wickets and dragged the game towards RR.

“Their experience is really invaluable. Having those guys is fantastic, we have lots of experience to draw from. Against Mumbai the game was in the balance and we needed wickets, Ashwin came up with a fantastic wicket and then Yuzi got two in two. Those guys are top performers and they know how to get things done,” he added.

The Englishmen further also talked about how Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson has evolved after being given the captaincy role in franchise cricket.

“Not many changes (since Sanju became captain). That is one of the greatest attribute any leader has to have — being yourself, being authentic.”

“Sanju definelty has that. He’s game has matured, cricket has matured, he’s a older and wiser than when we first started. We are enjoying playing under his leadership, he makes a great environment. He’s a fun guy who has respect from the entire group.”
