The TATA IPL 2022 is just a day away now. The game will begin tomorrow at 7:30 pm Indian Standard Time. The only different update about the game tomorrow is that MS Dhoni has stepped down from the captaincy of the Chennai Super Kings. Ravindra Jadeja will now step in his place and lead the team. The teams are now set and the competition will begin in full bloom. Here is a look at why the number 1 is significant for the IPL 2022:
1: Number of times Deccan Chargers, SRH, and RR have won the IPL before IPL 2022:
There are only 3 teams that have won the IPL once. The teams are Deccan Chargers, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Rajasthan Royals. The Rajasthan Royals won the tournament in the very first season. They were the dark horses in IPL 2008. No one expected the team to win and they did. Shane Warne led the team to glory. Deccan Chargers on the other hand were led by Adam Gilchrist to glory in IPL 2009. Sunrisers Hyderabad was the team to win the title in 2016. They were again, led by an Australian, David Warner. This dynamic left-handed batter led from the front and scored a mammoth 852 runs in the IPL.

The first-ever game in IPL history was Royal Challengers Bangalore taking on Kolkata Knight Riders. The game is one of the most iconic games. The match was played in the Chinnaswamy Stadium. After an amazing opening ceremony, the tournament began. Brendon McCullum came out to bat alongside Sourav Ganguly. McCullum gave the IPL a start that one could never think of! Brett Lee cleaned up Unmukt Chand on the very first ball of the 2011 IPL season. Many memes are floating on the internet about how that delivery might have shattered Unmukt’s confidence. IPL 2022 Ticket Booking Information:
IPL Ticket Booking began on the 23rd of March. The tickets for the first few games are sold out. However, there are many resellers. Book My Show and IPL Official Website are the only official portals to book the tickets.
The ticket price ranges from 800 onwards. The prices rise as far as 4000 for the lounge rooms. The games will be played with crowds only up to 25% capacity. The Maharashtra Government has issued an SOP for the crowd as well.
