IPL 2021 News & Updates: The Ambani family-owned IPL franchise Mumbai Indians went one step ahead of all other IPL sports franchise in the Brand Value in the IPL 2020. Mumbai Indians continued its sway on and off the field, as they recorded the highest ever brand value. The 5 times IPL champion achieved 7.1% spike in its sponsor market, according to the global brand value agency – Brand Finance.

Mumbai Indian are the only franchise in IPL to grow in such fast speed, the value of the franchise reached 70.3 million USD according to the study.

The Mumbai based franchise also performed well in the Brand Strength Index (BSI) in the past couple of years. Mumbai attained a BSI score of 76.9 out of 100 and AA+ remarks in the brand strength. The value shows the faith and belief of the investors and its constantly growing brand values.

According to the report, the second place is grabbed by the Chennai Super Kings followed by Kolkata Knight Riders

Mumbai Indians won their 5th IPL title last year:

The franchise ever since the inception of the cash-rich league IPL touched the sky. Mumbai Indian performance on and off the field have been constantly upwards. The Rohit Sharma led side won the IPL title for the 5th time last year at UAE.

Mumbai Indians added four new brands before the inauguration of the IPL 2020 – Marriott Bonvoy, Cadbury Dairy Milk, Colgate, and William Lawson’s. All four deals are multi-year deals and consists of huge brand value.

Ambani owned franchise has been in a long partnership with brands like USHA, Samsung, Jio and Colors.
