IPL 2021: Mujtaba Yousuf called for the trails by Mumbai Indians ahead of IPL 2021 auctions.

Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021: IPL 2021 auctions will be on the table on 18th February in Chennai and the franchises will leave no stone unturned to bolster their squad. Mumbai Indians went one step ahead and invited young 19 years old pacer from Jammu Kashmir for the trials.

The five-times champions have been impressed by Mujtaba Yousuf – a 19 years old pacer from Bijbehara town of South Kashmir and invited the pacer for the trials before the IPL 2021 auctions. Yousuf was seen performing in the recently concluded Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2020-21 and caught the eye of every scout talent teams. 

Playing for his domestic side, Mujtaba Yousuf remained economical after playing four games and picked five scalps. As per the reports from Jammu Kashmir, the young pacer directly head towards Mumbai after completing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for the trails.

Reportedly, the talent scout teams of every franchise were present at Bangalore during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy to pick the best and young rising talents. Mujtaba Yousuf impressed everyone with his skills and economical bowling. In the initial encounters, Jammu Kashmir did not include the pacer however when he got chance, he didn’t disappoint himself and his side.

Mujtaba was the net bowler for Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2020. He went to UAE along with the franchise to take part in the operations of KKR. He is also an active part of junior camps in India

According to the reports of Greater Kashmir, the young pacer is also called by Rajasthan Royals for the selection trials along with his counterpart Auquib Nabi.

Both the players will head directly to Rajasthan Camps for further assessment.
