India Women and Australia Women are gearing up for the Women’s World Cup 2025 Semi-Final, which is all set to be played on October 29, 2025, at Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai. But, after Pratika Rawal ruled out of the tournament due to the injury, a big question arises - who should open for India in the Semi-Final - Harleen Deol or Shafali Verma?

Both players are known for their quality batting; however, Harleen Doel is known for her versatility. She can play an anchor role, big innings, and rotating strikes. Whereas Shafali Verma is very different, he is known for her fearless and attacking brand of cricket. Shafali replaced Pratika for the remaining part of the tournament.
