Team India are the Number 1 ODI team with a Rating of 116 in 44 matches after this loss to Australia. They lost 1 rating Point and Australia, on the other hand, have slightly improved their rating to 112 from 110 and ended in third place. Pakistan is still the second in the ICC Men’s ODI Ranking.

It is just a consolation win for them as India already took the series by winning the first two, however, a win just before a big event like the ICC ODI World Cup is a major positive and confidence booster. They will be quite happy with this but it will be on their mind that they could have done far better in the previous games.

Rohit was in the beast mode and took Australia by storm in the first 10 overs. Virat also scored a half-century but the wicket also kept falling and India were unable to reach to target and lost by 66 runs.

Australia will be pleased with an excellent performance by Glenn Maxwell with the ball in his hand. He took 4 wickets in 10 overs with an economy of 4.00. Starc is back too and was looking good in the square. Starc knocked out KL Rahul in his 7 overs leaking 53 runs.
