History! England becomes the first ever team to score 300+ runs against a full test nation in a T20I, Phil Salt scripts history

The England cricket team created history by scoring 304 runs in the second T20 match played against South Africa in Manchester. The Three Lions have now become the third team and the first test-playing nationa to cross the 300 run-mark in Twenty-Twenty International Cricket. Before them, Zimbabwe (344 runs) and Nepal (314 runs) have achieved this feat.

In this match for the 2022 T20 World Cup winners, opening pair of Jos Buttler (83 runs in 30 balls) and Phil Salt (141* runs in 60 deliveries) batted explosively and took their team past 100 in the powerplay itself.
